There, similarly rendered text says

In the middle left panel, the words "WHEN/IF/AS" are arranged around a large X, as seen previously to suggest a multiple slash. The righthand quarter of the X is left open, but at the same height to the far right of the panel, a line of text continues into the horizontally adjacent one (a vertical bar marking the panel break per usual):

In the middle right panel, the sentence is continued in a stacked column, intersecting with the previous line in the word "THIS":

The column and sentence continues into the bottom right panel,

IT?"
Again, the "READ/TRAVELED/THOUGHT" sequence is arranged around an X, with "IT?" taking the bottom position, following the downward reading direction.
